The Executive Chairman of Edo state SUBEB, Dr Paddy Iyamu made a proactive move by visiting schools on the first day of resumption to ensure teachers were in attendance and ready to impart knowledge to students. This visit led to the suspension of a teacher due to unsatisfactory feedback from a student's workbook, highlighting the chairman's commitment to quality education.
During the visit, the chairman also inspected dilapidated schools slated for reconstruction by the Governor. This move is part of Edo State's efforts to transform its education sector, focusing on both knowledge and infrastructural development for the benefit of Nigerian children.
