In a significant move to hitting the ground running, The Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, Edo State, Hon. Washington Osa Osifo (Esq, PhD), on Wednesday, 22nd January 2024, officially resumed office at the ministry's headquarters, Palm House, Sapele Road, Benin City.

.. Commits the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources unto the hands of the Almighty. 

In a significant move to hitting the ground running, The Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, Edo State, Hon. Washington Osa Osifo (Esq, PhD), on Wednesday, 22nd January 2024, officially resumed office at the ministry's headquarters, Palm House, Sapele Road, Benin City. 

As is typical of him, he sought the face of divinity by starting with prayers, as exemplified by our Lord Jesus Christ. Flanked by the Permanent Secretary, Bldr. Nyamali Joseph and a cross session of the Ministry's staff, trusted associates, and aides, Hon. Osifo returned all the glory and adoration to the Almighty. 

The spirit-filled prayer session which was led by Pastor Igninosun Benedict, a staff of the ministry, committed Hon Commissioner Osifo into the hands of God and asked for divine Guidance, protection, and preservation while also supplicating for new insights and good health for the newly appointed commissioner who is in his second opportunity to serve the good people of Edo State in the same capacity. He prayed to the Almighty to imbue Hon. Osifo with the wisdom and courage to do what is right for Edo People and the Ministry.

Hon. Washington Osifo, upon resumption, had earlier met with top functionaries of the Ministry in a closed-door meeting to bring himself up to speed and acquaint himself with the leadership of the Ministry, many of whom he is still familiar with, having served in the ministry during the administration of former Governor Adams Oshiomhole hence, it was a sort of homecoming for him

The prayer session highlights Hon. Washington Osifo's absolute belief in the power of the Almighty as the ultimate definer of our fate and destinies as Humans. As mortal beings, we are nothing but pencils in his hands; hence, total obeisance to his supremacy and primacy is the recipe for breaking forth and success in all endeavors.
