100 DAYS OF EFFECTIVENESS AND AN UNFOLDING VISION; EDO CAGRAM CELEBRATES THE ICONIC LEADERSHIP OF HIS EXCELLENCY, SEN. MONDAY OKPEBHOLO AND DEPUTY, HON. DENNIS IDAHOSA.

Press Statement/19/02/2025.

The Leadership and Members of the Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGraM), Edo State Chapter led by Dr. Andrew Osaigbovo-Omosefe wish to felicitate with the Sen. Monday Okpebholo's led administration in Edo State as it marks its first one hundred days in office as the duly elected Governor of our dear state.

In just one hundred days in office as Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Sen. Monday Okpebholo ably supported by his deputy, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa and the State's executive Council have shown impressive political dexterity and a hands-on approach to governance. They have activated a definitive shift into people centrism and achieved an unprecedented scorecard of performance.

In celebrating this milestone, it is important to highlight some of the landmark gains of this administration in just 100 days in office. Gov. Okpebholo has practically touched all sectors of the State economy starting with security. He has signed into law, an act outlawing Cult and kidnapping activities by prescribing stiffer penalties against perpetrators. He has provided (using his security vote) hundreds of brand-new logistical vehicles for all security agencies in the state.

In just 100 days, he has turned Edo State into a huge construction site with road construction and rehabilitation projects scattered across the Benin metropolis and other parts of the State. This is in addition to the first of its kind, the Ramat Park flyover. Education has been revolutionized through the enactment of progressive policies. It has also received a boost with the construction and rehabilitation of several blocks of classrooms. The increase of Ambrose Ali University's subvention to five hundred Million from the paltry sum of ₦40 million under the last administration is worthy of commendation. In human capital development, Sen. Okpebholo has approved the employment of hundreds of Edo indigenes in different parastatal of Government.

Internally generated Revenue has hit a monthly record of ₦10 Billion in just 100 days as a Governor. Perhaps the most intriguing achievement is the procurement of one hundred brand new Toyota Hiace buses to revamp the moribund Edo line transport company. This is indeed a feat. He has restructured governance making use of simple methods to get the work done. His government doesn't believe in the rhetoric and fraud of MOUs but in the practical approach to efficiency. The list is endless.

This is a vision unfolding, a dream cleaving reality, and a sacrificial leader with political willpower, expressing his love for the people and the State. Gov. Okpebholo has shown capacity that transcends oratory capabilities. He simply does the work and allows people to appreciate and talk about it.

The Executives and members of Edo CAGRAM are pleased to see the vision we aligned with, the dream we keyed into, and the potentials we saw that made us campaign vigorously for Sen. Monday Okpebholo across the length and breadth of the state using our personal resources is gaining such incredible propulsion in efficient service delivery. In such a short time in office, Gov. Okpebholo has laid the foundation for the erection of a new Edo that has risen for greatness, prosperity, egalitarianism, and sustainable growth.

Edo CAGraM heartily congratulates His Excellencies, Sen. Okpebholo and Hon. Idahosa, on their spectacular speed away from unnecessary dilly-dallies, fitness to purpose, and their remarkable achievements.

May God imbue you both with more wisdom, good health, and the transformative ideas that will make Edo a point of reference as a true center of excellence.

God bless Edo State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Signed,

Mr. Ukato Thomas.

Publicity Secretary, Edo CAGraM.
