On his ascension to the seat of the Honorable Member representing

Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Famous Adesuwa Osawaru has distinguished himself as a worthy representative of the people with the capacity and know-how to deliver the dividends of democracy to the doorstep of his people. 

From the quality of bills and motions he keeps moving on the floor of the house, to the meticulous manner in which he carries out his oversight duties, Billy is simply blazing the trail. 

Within the last few months, Dr. Billy Osawaru has proposed transformative and societal-building bills. One is a bill for an act to establish the Federal College of Agriculture, Urhonigbe, which will no doubt bring massive development to Orhionmwon Local Government as a whole, and the just proposed bill for an act to establish the Federal Medical Center Ehor, Administrative Headquarters of Uhunmwode Local Government Area. 

This hospital, when established, will not only tackle the dearth of quality and accessible healthcare services in Uhunmwode and its environs but will also bring succor to constituents who have to endure the harrowing experience of traveling long distances to access specialist doctors. It will attract massive development to the health sector in Edo state and birth rapid development in Ehor as a community, thus curbing rural-urban migration. These brilliant and apt bills are aside from other numerous bills and motions, Hon. Osawaru has moved within the past one and half years as a member of the House of Representatives.

Similarly, Hon. Dr Billy Osawaru has empowered a lot of his constituents with gainful employment in different ministries and parastals of the federal government. Through his numerous empowerment programs, he has brought joy and satisfaction to different homes within and outside his constituency.

Fondly called the "proud Benin Chief", Billy Osawaru ranks among one of the most popular representatives in the entire Nation as his people-oriented motions and bills have endeared him to progressive-minded individuals. 

Truly, Billy Osawaru has continued and will continue to fulfill his campaign promises to his people.

This is my personal affirmation that Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Osawaru is indeed working. His developmental drive and reformative initiatives are worthy of my commendation.
