Dr. Samson Osagie, Edo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, marked his return to office with heartfelt gratitude and resolute determination at the Nigerian Bar Association, Benin branch (Lion Bar) meeting held on March 16, 2025, at the Bar House, Benin City. In a stirring address, he acknowledged the unwavering support and commendable sportsmanship of NBA members during his suspension, emphasizing that their collective solidarity stands as a testament to the enduring strength and integrity of the legal fraternity.

Taking the opportunity to officially announce his reinstatement, Dr. Osagie expressed deep appreciation for the Executive Governor, Monday Okpebholo, whose steadfast commitment to transparency and accountability was evident when he upheld the findings of the investigation that cleared the Attorney General of alleged financial irregularities. This decisive action not only restored Dr. Osagie's honor but also reinforced the trust placed in the state’s institutions under a leadership that stands firmly for truth and justice.
