This prestigious national appointment is a worthy recognition of your lifelong passion for sports and your outstanding contributions to sports development in Edo State and beyond. Your legacy as a true sportsman, reformer, and visionary administrator is firmly established especially through your transformative leadership that revived iconic institutions like Bendel Insurance Football Club and redefined Edo’s sports infrastructure, including the modern Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium while you served as the former deputy Governor of Edo State.

As you step into this new role, I am confident that your wealth of experience, deep understanding of grassroots sports development, and commitment to excellence will reposition the Nigerian Institute of Sports for national relevance and global recognition. May your tenure bring lasting progress to Nigeria’s sporting future.
