Hon. Iredia Benjamin Osa's Celebrates All Fathers in Uhunmwode Local Government on Father’s Day
The Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Council, Hon. Iredia Benjamin Osa's, has extended heartfelt felicitations to all fathers across Uhunmwode Local Government Area in celebration of this year’s Father’s Day.
In a statement released from his office in Ehor, the Council’s headquarters, Hon. Iredia praised the roles that fathers play in building strong homes, mentoring the next generation, and contributing meaningfully to the development of society.
“Today, we celebrate the strength, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication of fathers in our local government and the state. Fathers are not only providers and protectors, but they are also moral compasses and role models who shape the future of our communities,” Hon. Iredia said. He commended fathers for their resilience, responsibility, and support to family values, even in the face of economic and social challenges. He noted that the role of fathers remains critical to the peace, unity, and socio-economic growth of Uhunmwode and Edo State at large.
“As a father myself, I understand the daily demands and responsibilities that come with raising children and supporting a household. It is a task that requires love, patience, strength and values that our fathers continue to demonstrate daily,” he also added.
Hon. Iredia reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting family friendly policies and empowering parents, especially at the grassroots level. He also used the occasion to encourage fathers to remain exemplary in their conduct and continue to nurture children with values of integrity, respect, and community service.
He concluded by wishing every father a joyous celebration filled with love, peace, and appreciation.
Happy Father’s Day to every father in Uhunmwode. May your efforts never go unnoticed, and may your homes be filled with joy and harmony.
