Uhunmwode Council Boss Takes Healthcare Services Directly To The Doorsteps Of The People
Uhunmwode, Edo State — A true leader places a premium on the welfare, well-being, and health of his people while creating opportunities for them to thrive. This principle was demonstrated by the Acting Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Council, Hon. Iredia Benjamin Osa, as he recently carried out the first phase of a free medical outreach program for communities in Irhue (Ward 4), Umagbae South (Ward 6), and Egbede (Ward 10).
Residents and indigenes from Oke, Idokpa, and Igbogiri turned out in large numbers to take advantage of the free health services on offer, which included medical consultations, health screenings, diagnostic testing, laboratory services, health education, and the administration of free medication.
This medical outreach is more than just an initiative, it stands as a powerful expression of compassion and a testament to Hon. Iredia’s understanding of the real needs of his people. It reflects a leadership style that prefers action over words, service over promises, and care over political rhetoric.
Hon. Iredia assured the community that this free medical outreach will not be a one-time event but an initiative that will be sustained as the program will be extended to other communities within Uhunmwode, reflecting his continued resolve to make healthcare more accessible.
Making Uhunmwode work again is a collective mission. Hon. Iredia Benjamin Osa's leads that mission with a clear, purposeful, and people-centric approach. His administration is poised to make a substantial difference in the lives of the people he serves.
