Empowering The Youth For A Sustainable Future; Hon. Iredia's Blueprint For Economic Rebirth.

All is now set for the Uhunmwode Youth Wealth Creation and Skills Seminar slated to hold today, Wednesday, July 16th, 2025. The skills seminar kick-starts the Uhunmwode Economic Summit, the first of its kind in the history of Uhunmwode Local Government administration, aimed at stimulating economic rebirth and growth.

The Economic Summit stemmed from the fertile ideas of the Local Government Council Boss, Hon. Benjamin Iredia, whose commitment to improving the economic fortunes of Uhunmwode Local Government Area and repositioning it for increased viability and accelerated growth has remained unwavering.

The Youth Wealth Creation and Skills Empowerment Seminar is aptly timely, as it coincides with the commemoration of the World Youth Skills Day, themed "Youth Empowerment and Wealth Creation Through Knowledge and Exposure." It is also strategic, considering the dearth of productive skills among the teeming youths in the local government.

Starting the Economic Summit with this youth seminar is a masterstroke in effective planning, as the greatest, most important, and potent empowerment is human capacity building through knowledge impartation for wealth creation, and exposure to life skills for self-sustainability which has a spiral effect that would definitely rejuvenate the economy of the Local Government.

Like the Chinese adage rightly posits and paraphrased herein, "It is better to teach a man how to fish and feed him and his dependents for life, than to give him fish and have him fed for one day." This is the prevailing idea behind the Wealth Creation Seminar and part of Hon. Benjamin Iredia Osa's blueprint for Uhunmwode’s economic rebirth.

This is purposeful leadership through deliberate positive actions for the overall benefit of the Local Government Area.
