UHUNMWODE IS SHINING AS HON. IREDIA BENJAMIN OSA'S GALVANIZES SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR OKPEBHOLO’S INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT: THE FIRST FLYOVER IN EDO.

In a continued show of solidarity and commitment to the progressive agenda of the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, the Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon. Benjamin Osa's Iredia has reaffirmed his total support for the Governor’s people-oriented infrastructural drive particularly the strategic construction of the Ramat  flyover, aimed at easing traffic and boosting economic connectivity across Edo State.

During a recent stakeholder engagement in Benin City, Hon. Iredia applauded the Governor’s foresight in launching the Edo Flyover Project, a landmark infrastructural initiative designed to decongest traffic, in the Ikpoba Hill, Benin-Agbor and Aduwawa roads to enhance inter-city mobility, and open up new commercial routes across the state. He described the move as not just timely, but transformative, especially in linking rural communities to the city.

“Governor Okpebholo is charting a new course for development in Edo State. This is not just a flyover, it is a bridge to prosperity, to accessibility and to growth. Uhunmwode is solidly behind this vision, and we are ready to support it,” Hon. Iredia stated.

He further stressed that Uhunmwode will align its internal projects, such as road rehabilitation, solar streetlight installations, and rural-urban connectivity plans with the State’s infrastructural roadmap, ensuring a seamless development experience from grassroots to the state capital. The Chairman also urged residents of Uhunmwode to key into this transformational wave and remain supportive and active participants in the developmental strides of Governor Okpebholo-led administration.

This strong synergy Okpebholo has brought between the State and Local Governments continues to position Edo as a benchmark for infrastructural development in grassroots as well his visionary governance within and across Nigeria.
