UHUNMWODE COUNCIL CHAIRMAN, HON. IREDIA BENJAMIN OSA'S REPOSITION UHUNMWODE LOCAL GOVERNMENT THROUGH STANDFEST ADMINISTRATION
In a renewed commitment to grassroots development, transpar
ency, and accountable leadership, the Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon. Iredia Benjamin Osa's, has continued to reposition the LGA through his standfast and purpose driven administration.
Since assuming office, Hon. Iredia leadership has brought a wave of transformation across key sectors including health, education, security, infrastructure, environment, and youth empowerment. His administration is built on integrity, inclusiveness, and the genuine desire to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Uhunmwode, Uhunmwode is shining yet again.
From rehabilitating dilapidated schools and primary health centres to restoring critical road networks and water systems, the Chairman has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to grassroots impact. Most notably, he led environmental task force operations to ensure cleaner, safer communities and initiated strategic partnerships for improved healthcare delivery such as the collaboration with the Edo State Diaspora Agency for the revitalization of Ugomoson Health Centre.
Hon. Iredia has also prioritized the security of lives and properties, chairing regular strategic security meetings involving the Nigerian Army, Police, DSS, NSCDC, FRSC, and local vigilante groups to tackle criminal activities and ensure peace across the local government.
In the area of youth and women empowerment, his administration has organized impactful seminars, and proposed vocational training, and support for SMEs aimed at driving self sufficiency and reducing unemployment.
According to Hon. Iredia, "This administration is not here to make promises but to deliver results. Uhunmwode belongs to all of us, and together, we are building a stronger and more prosperous local government."
