Dr. Andrew Osaigbovo Omosefe takes over as the New Acting Provost of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Iguoriakhi, Edo State.
The new Provost appreciated God Almighty and profusely thanked His Excellency, Sen. Monday Okpebholo for the opportunity to serve. Rolled out a Four points Agenda to transform the Institution into a citadel of Agricultural research, innovation, revive academic standards and attract the best students. He emphasized that his first priority would be massive student drive and enrollment.
He also promised to upgrade the facilities and modernize the campuses and forge powerful partnerships with government agencies, private investors, agro-based companies, and international institutions
Dr. Omosefe noted that discipline will be enforced, reward for excellence will be introduced, merit will be restored and staff welfare will be improved.
He described his coming to Iguoriakhi as the dawn of a new day for the institution, noting that he has come as a servant leader, a teammate who will listen, consult widely but act decisively. He sought the support of all stakeholders, the host community and concluded that working as a team and with the support of the working Governor, the college will surmount all its challenges
