Comrade Evbaziegbere Edorodion Bows to Teachers’ Call, Declares for Edo State Wing NUT Chairmanship

In a move warmly applauded by teachers and education stakeholders across Edo State, Comrade Evbaziegbere Edorodion alias Daudu has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Edo State Wing.
His decision follows sustained calls from teachers and education advocates urging him to bring his proven leadership, wealth of experience, advocacy skills, capacity, and dedication to the forefront of the union’s affairs.
Declaring his intention to contest for the NUT’s top job, Comrade Edorodion stated that his burning desire to improve the welfare and well-being of teachers remains the driving force behind his decision. He described teaching as a noble profession dedicated to imparting knowledge for personal and professional growth, one that deserves improved remuneration, greater societal appreciation, and better welfare.
Comrade Edorodion further pledged that under his inclusive, transparent, and united leadership, the Edo State Wing of the NUT would witness a new dawn when elected. He urged teachers and stakeholders across the state to give him their support in building a formidable union that truly meets their yearnings and aspirations.
Currently serving as the 4th Vice Chairman of Edo State Wing NUT, Comrade Edorodion brings to bear, a deep understanding of the union’s terrain, issues, and challenges, as well as practical solutions to address them. He embodies responsibility, commitment, and dedication to improving teachers’ working and living conditions. He is emotionally intelligent, responsive, peace-loving, and blessed with a large heart for people.
