The ebullient, workaholic, and pragmatic Acting Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Council, Hon. Benjamin Osas Iredia, has commended His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo's security initiatives and the practical ways in which it has boosted the security architecture of the State.

Notably, the Council hailed the purchase of over 300 power Motorbikes to be distributed across security agencies in the three senatorial districts of the State aimed at enhancing security operations.

He highlighted the fact that this kinetic approach to policing will ensure that our security agencies can marshal our state and smoke out criminals from their hideouts, even to the inner recesses of our forests, areas ordinarily not accessible by vehicles.

Hon. Iredia noted that the priority the governor has placed on security as a cardinal part of his SHINE AGENDA reflects his in-depth understanding of the fact that no meaningful development can take place in an environment marred by insecurity. He further added that the practical Governor's security initiative has gone a long way in boosting investors' confidence in the state as the evidence is there for all to see.
