Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr, the resident pastor of Faith Tabernacle and first son of Bishop David Oyedepo, has revealed that in his 17 years of marriage, he has never argued with his wife.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Oyedepo Jnr said the decision was one he made long before marriage. According to him, while many couples see arguments as normal in relationships, he deliberately resolved in his heart during courtship that conflict would have no place in his home.
He recalled that a pastor once warned him that marriage comes with “trouble in the flesh,” but he chose instead to build a mindset of peace and harmony. “I made up my mind that arguments will not exist in my marriage, and 17 years after, there has been no argument,” he stated.
The revelation has since stirred reactions online. While some praised the testimony as proof that peaceful marriages are possible, others questioned whether avoiding arguments means suppressing feelings rather than addressing issues openly.
