The Honourable Member representing the good people of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Famous Osawaru, has warmly congratulated Emperor Jaret Tenebe, Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh, Engr. Lawrence Okah, and other distinguished members of the newly elected and inaugurated State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State.

Hon. Osawaru commended the peaceful and orderly conduct of the State Affirmative Congress, describing it as a demonstration of the party’s growing internal cohesion and democratic maturity. He applauded the resounding re-election of the firebrand Emperor Jaret Tenebe as State Chairman, the return of the vibrant Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh as substantive Vice Chairman, and the emergence of the tactical Engr. Lawrence Okah as the State Secretary, alongside other members of the State Working Committee.

According to him, their collective experience, capacity loyalty, and dedication to party ideals will position the APC in Edo State for greater organizational strength and political advancement. He noted that with their reelection, APC is now repositioned, noting that leadership within a progressive party must be anchored on unity of purpose, discipline, and commitment to the people.

Hon. Osawaru emphasized that a political party remains strongest when its members speak with one voice, work with one heart, and pursue one shared vision of development and prosperity, and expressed confidence that under the Leadership of the newly elected executives, the party will achieve its aims. He urged party faithful across Edo State to close ranks, set aside personal interests, and rally behind the State Working Committee in the collective task of strengthening the party as internal harmony is the bedrock upon which electoral victories and good governance are achieved and built.

The federal lawmaker expressed willingness to work very closely with the State working committee towards delivering the 3.5 million votes for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as pledged by our amiable, practical, and visionary people's Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Monday Okpebholo. He prayed the Almighty to imbue the State working committee members with good health, a sound mind, and the unity of purpose to deliver on the mandate.
