It is a general consensus that Hon. Austin Imafidon is doing well. His administration's commitment is geared towards a systemic reboot, functional reset, and steady progress is visible to all.

So, it wasn't baffling to see that the consensus, which gave a nod of affirmation for his continuity as the council boss, was overwhelming. In unionism, the cacophony of voices spoke in one accord without a single dissenter. It was a verdict! Not only on his impeccable performance but on an effective, harmonious interpersonal relationship with relevant stakeholders that he has created, it is an affirmation of his humility, humaneness, kindness, and penchant for inclusive governance. 

The "Hon. Austin Imafidon for continuity" as Uhunmwode Local Government Council Chairman is beyond position and privileges, it is about consolidating on the gains already achieved, sustaining impact, progress recorded, and about the realization of Hon. Imafidon's medium and long-term goals for Uhunmwode as a local government.

The path is clear; It is forward ever!! The days of retrogression are over. As the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local government elections and incoming substantive chairman of Uhunmwode, by the grace of God and the will of the people, Uhunmwode is set for transformation. The signs are already visible. The foundation has been solidly laid and the vision is unfolding.

It is time to consolidate progress and deepen the gains of grassroots governance and engagement. With Hon. Imafidon, the infrastructural upgrade currently going on will continue seamlessly, and the public-private investment partnerships that will turn Uhunmwode into a commercial hub and create thousands of jobs for the youth will be realized. Health care will improve as Hon. Imafidon's vision is to have functional primary health centers across the ten wards of Uhunmwode.

His rural electrification projects are designed to bring lights and industry to the nooks and crannies of Uhunmwode. The "will to do" and create a legacy through legacy projects is innate. Hon.
