DOLES WITH THE EDO DEPUTY GOVERNOR, RT. HON. DENNIS IDAHOSA, OVER MOTHER'S PASSING
In a press release signed by Ogiehor Ehis Tornado the Chief Press Secretary Uhunmwode Local Government Council. Dated 9th April,2026. The Acting Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon. Austin Imafidon, has expressed profound grief and heartfelt condolences to the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt. Hon. Denis Idahosa, following the passing of his beloved mother, Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa.
In an official condolence message issued on behalf of the government and people of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon. Imafidon described the late Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa as a remarkable woman of virtue, dignity, and uncommon strength, whose life was devoted to hard work, discipline, and dedicated service to humanity.
According to the Acting Chairman, until her passing, the deceased remained a mother figure not only to her family but also to many within her community and beyond, owing to her nurturing spirit, exemplary moral values, and unwavering commitment to duty.
Hon. Imafidon noted that her legacy of humility, resilience, and selfless service will continue to inspire generations, adding that her life reflected the values of responsibility and integrity which are worthy of emulation.
He further stated that the loss of a mother is deeply painful and irreplaceable, especially one whose influence and sacrifices contributed immensely to the growth and success of her children and society at large.
The Acting Chairman prayed that God Almighty grants Rt. Hon. Denis Idahosa and the entire Idahosa family the strength, comfort, and grace required to bear this painful loss, while also granting the departed eternal rest.
