HON. AUSTIN IMAFIDON APPRECIATES THE PEOPLE OF UHUNMWODE, APC LEADERSHIP, AND GOVERNOR MONDAY OKPEVBHOLO FOR THEIR UNWAVERING SUPPORT

I extend my profound gratitude to the good people of Uhunmwode Local Government Area for the overwhelming confidence and support you have reposed in me. I am deeply humbled by the opportunity to serve our great local government and I do not take this mandate for granted.

I sincerely appreciate the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his visionary leadership, steadfast commitment to grassroots development, and for creating an enabling environment that has made this aspiration a reality. Your confidence in the younger generation of leaders continues to inspire us to serve with integrity, diligence, and accountability.

I also express my heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the state, local government, ward, and unit levels. I remain grateful to our party leaders, elders, stakeholders, women, youths, and every loyal party member whose sacrifices, dedication, and unwavering commitment contributed immensely to this success. This victory belongs to every member of our great party and indeed to all the people of Uhunmwode.

To the entire people of Uhunmwode, irrespective of political affiliation, I assure you that I shall continue to consolidate on the developmental strides already initiated during my tenure in an acting capacity as Chairman of the Local Government Council. Our administration will remain people-oriented, transparent, inclusive, and focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to every community across the ten wards.

I pledge never to let you down. Your trust will continue to inspire me to work even harder in pursuit of sustainable development, improved security, quality infrastructure, enhanced healthcare, better education, youth empowerment, and economic opportunities for our people.

As a young leader, I am driven by the desire to leave behind a legacy of purposeful leadership and enduring development, a footprint that will stand the test of time and will not be easily erased by generations to come. My greatest ambition is to build institutions, execute impactful projects, and implement policies that will positively transform Uhunmwode for many years ahead.

I therefore appeal to all sons and daughters of Uhunmwode, our traditional institutions, community leaders, religious leaders, civil servants, market women, youths, the business community, and friends of our local government at home and in the diaspora to join hands with this administration. Together, let us build a united, peaceful, prosperous, and befitting Uhunmwode where every citizen can thrive.

The task before us is enormous, but with God on our side and the continued cooperation and support of our people, I am confident that we shall achieve even greater milestones.

Once again, I thank you all for believing in me. I remain committed to serving with humility, integrity, and unwavering dedication.
