No President Has Done More for the North Than Tinubu — Kaduna’s Gov Uba Sani Predicts Bigger 2027 Victory for the President.
Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has declared that President Bola Tinubu has delivered more development projects to Northern Nigeria than any previous leader, insisting the President will secure even more votes in the region during the 2027 election.
Speaking on ARISE Television on Tuesday, Sani dismissed claims that the North had turned against Tinubu.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today, has done more than any leader for Northern Nigeria. I can tell you categorically, no president has done to the North in terms of development as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done in the last three years,” he said.
The governor added, “A lot of people have come here and told you the North will not vote for Asiwaju. That is a figment of their imagination. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will get more votes in 2027 than what he got.”
Sani attributed his confidence to several ongoing federal projects, including the Abuja-Kaduna highway, which he said would be commissioned by November after the Federal Government paid over N600 billion to contractors.
He also highlighted the long-abandoned Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road, saying funding had finally been released for the N178 billion project after more than 25 years.
According to the governor, Tinubu’s administration has also boosted agriculture by providing fertiliser and supporting Kaduna’s participation in the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) initiative.
Other achievements he listed include the establishment of a Federal University of Science and Technology in Southern Kaduna, the upgrade of a state hospital to a Federal Medical Centre, and the approval of a N1 trillion Kaduna Light Rail project.
Sani maintained that these projects demonstrate Tinubu’s commitment to improving infrastructure, healthcare and economic opportunities across Northern Nigeria.
