BREAKING: GOVERNOR HOPE UZODIMMA HAS APPROVED THE APPOINTMENT OF PROFESSOR FRANCES NGOZI CHUKWUKERE AS THE VICE-CHANCELLOR OF K.O. MBADIWE UNIVERSITY

Nigeria, August 25 Professor Frances Ngozi Chukwukere has been appointed the new Vice-Chancellor of K.O. Mbadiwe University, Ogboko, Imo State.

Her appointment followed the approval of Governor Hope Uzodinma and takes immediate effect, according to a statement by the Imo State Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.

Chukwukere was previously a Professor of Linguistics at Imo State University, Owerri, where she built a reputation in indigenous knowledge, language preservation and health-related advocacy.

She was also recently appointed by Ohanaeze Ndigbo to contribute to efforts aimed at reviving and strengthening the Igbo language.

Her emergence is expected to bring her academic and cultural expertise to the leadership of K.O. Mbadiwe University as the institution continues its development.
