BREAKING: Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo Swears In 18 Local Government Council Chairmen.

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has sworn in the state's recently elected local government council chairmen.

Performing the ceremony at the new Festival Hall, Government House, Governor Okpebholo charged the local government chairmen to ensure that development at the grassroots, where they superintend, is taken closer to the man in the street.

Governor Okpebholo urged the council chairmen to allow development, transparency, and accountability to be their watchword, stressing the need for prudent management of public resources.

Responding on behalf of the newly sworn-in local government council chairmen, the Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council, Honourable Gabriel Iduseri, otherwise known as Gabros, stressed that they will key into the SHINE agenda of the state government to ensure that development is at the grassroots.

Honourable Iduseri equally assured that they will key into President Bola Tinubu in order to drive home development for a better Edo State, using the grassroots as a starting point.
