EECOFUND CHAIRMAN IGIEBOR SALUTES NIGERIANS, HAILS GOVERNOR MONDAY LEADERSHIP AT INDEPENDENCE

The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Ecological Funding and Management Commission (EECOFUND), Ambassador Terry Igiebor, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s Independence anniversary, calling for greater unity, peace and collective commitment to national development.

In an Independence message, Ambassador Igiebor said Nigeria remains a nation of strength and immense potential, noting that the sacrifices of the country’s founding fathers should continue to inspire citizens to work together for a better future.

He emphasised the importance of Nigeria’s diversity and the unity that binds citizens together, stressing that the nation can overcome its challenges when Nigerians remain committed to a common purpose.

Igiebor also commended the governor of Edo state administration for what he described as its courage, steady leadership and commitment to the people.

According to him, the administration’s calm resolve and firm leadership have continued to give citizens hope while demonstrating that challenges can be overcome through collective effort and determination.

The EECOFUND Chairman further commended the staff and Executive Directors of the Commission for their dedication and hard work towards environmental protection, ecological sustainability and the development of a safer environment in Edo State.

He urged them to sustain their commitment and continue contributing to the building of a greener, safer and stronger Edo State.

Igiebor prayed for God’s continued blessings, strength and guidance for Nigeria, while calling for peace, unity, progress and prosperity across the country.

He expressed optimism that Nigeria would continue to rise and that Edo State would remain a shining example of resilience, development and environmental responsibility.

The EECOFUND Chairman concluded his message with a call for collective action and national unity, declaring:

“Stronger Together for a Greater Nigeria.”
