Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Osawaru Famous, the distinguished representative of the Orhiomwon/Uhunmwonde Federal Constituency, has launched a transformative Information Technology (IT) training program aimed at empowering the youth in his constituency. 

The initiative, in collaboration with the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) and Pinnatech Engineering Nigeria Limited, underscores Dr. Osawaru’s deep commitment to equipping the young people of Orhiomwon/Uhunmwonde with valuable skills for the digital economy.

The one-day training program focused on providing participants with essential IT skills that will enhance their employability and enable them to contribute meaningfully to the growth of their communities and the nation. 

The program climaxed with each participant from Orhiomwon/Uhunmwonde receiving an HP laptop to aid in the practical development of their newly acquired skills.

As a visionary leader, Dr. Osawaru has always advocated for empowering the youth through education and skill development, believing strongly in the philosophy of teaching people how to fish, rather than simply giving them fish.
