It was an honor to witness the recognition, appreciation, and celebration of a Man who has been an inspiration, a rallying point to emerging leaders, an advocate for/of the people, and now the AriseTV/THISday Publisher's Senator of the year, His Excellency, Sen. Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole. 

As part of your entourage at the award ceremony held at the Prestigious Eko Hotel, Lagos, I was, again, awestruck by your citation. It is an affirmation of your immense contribution to the socio-economic and political development of our dear Nation as a former labor leader. Your spectacular outing as a two-time Governor of Edo State and now, your vibrant representation as a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have not gone unnoticed.

This well-deserved recognition as Senator of the Year even as a first-time Senator is consequent upon your impressive and intelligent showing as a vocal voice at the Red chambers of the 10th National Assembly that has consistently championed institutional reforms, spoken truth to power, questioned unprogressive government policies and programs, made progressive recommendations that has essentially, made common sense for the benefits of Nigerians. 

As your political protege, I am pleased to be identified with and learn from the best mind that you represent. May God continuously bless you with more nationalistic passion and imbue you with good health of mind and body as you continue to serve Nigerians.
