EDO STATE FORESTRY COMMISSION BOSS ASSUMES OFFICE, TASKS STAFF ON DEDICATION TO DUTIES

The Management and Staff of the Edo State Forestry Commission have been called upon to work as a team in order to move the Commission to a higher level.

The newly appointed Executive Chairman of Edo State Forest Commission, Hon Dr Valentine Asuen made the call today when he assumed office.

He charged the staff to be hard working, proactive and dedicated to their duties so as to achieve the Governor’s mandate of turning the Commission around, saying that any staff who fails in his responsibility will be shown the way out.

The Edo State Forestry Commission Boss who informed the staff that a new Edo has risen, charged them to align with the new vision, saying that the Governor is in a hurry to transform the state.

While soliciting their support in the management of the Commission, he assured them that their challenges will be looked into.

The Chairman used the opportunity of the meeting to inform the staff that his administration is keen on increasing the revenue base of the Commission, curb illegal logging in the state as well as embark on massive tree planting and monitoring of existing forest plantations across the state.
