EDO-STAR TEACHERS INVITED FOR SCREENING EXERCISE INTO THE STATE PUBLIC SERVICE BY EDO STATE GOVERNMENT

Conduct of screening exercise for all Edo Star teachers into the state public service

This was contained in a circular letter from the office of Edo State governor in the directorate of human resources management, signed by Mrs. B. J. Igbinobaro permanent secretary. 2nd June, 2025.

The circular letter have it addressed to all heads of ministries, departments and agencies that the screening exercise of the Supporting Teachers Achieve Result (Edo Star) fellowship programme teachers has been scheduled to hold in the three (3) senatorial districts in the state as follows: 

1. Edo South: Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th June,  2025 at JOOPSA GRA, Benin City by 8:30am

2. Edo Central: Monday 16th to Tuesday 17th June, 2025 at Esan Central Local Government Secretariat, Irua by 9:30am

3. Edo North: Wednesday 18th to Thursday 19th June, 2025 at Etsako West Local Government Secretariat, Auchi by 9:30am

All Edo Star Teachers are expected to present themselves for the screening exercise with their relevant documents. Such as:

1. Letter of appointment as Edo Star teacher,

2. First school leaving certificate,

3. Secondary school certificate, 

4. Educational qualifications. NCE, B.ed, PGD,

5. NYSC certificate/exemption certificate,

6. TRCN certificate, 

7. Birthday certificate/affidavit of age declaration and

8. Local government of origin certificate
