Call him a "Benin Kingdom Ambassador to the World", you would be very correct as Hon. Dr. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru is unapologetically, a proud Benin Chief..

Little Wonder, therefore, that in his acts of effective representation of his people and constituents, he took the petition by the Aiguobasinmwin Movement on the alleged Incitement of the Igbanke people against the Benin Kingdom by Sen. Ned Nwoko in an attempt to cede and annex them into the proposed creation of the Anioma State very personally. "Igbanke Communities have been an integral part of the Benin Kingdom from the time of Oba Ogiso" Hon. Osawaru argued via the petition, demanding that Sen. Nwoko hands off Benin Lands.
