In a remarkable show of support for local enterprise, human capacity and community development, the Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon
. Benjamin Osa's Iredia, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Leader Hon. Austin Imafidon, the Chief Executive Officer of Gold Coast Electricals, on the official opening of another branch of Isiwina, a modern electrical stores and logistics facility in Uhunmwode LGA.
The Chairman described the new establishment as a significant boost to economic activities within the local government area, especially in the electrical materials and power sector. According to Hon. Iredia, “The presence of a major electrical store facility such as Isiwina will not only empower local traders and youth who want to learn a trade but will also attract further investment and job opportunities for our youth in Uhunmwode.”
He praised Hon. Austin Imafidon for his unwavering commitment to human capacity development and his vision for industrial growth in Uhunmwode. “This is the kind of bold step we need to see more often from our sons and daughters of the soil. Hon. Imafidon has not only created a solution to a critical need, but he has also set a new standard for private sector participation in local development,” the Chairman stated.
The Council reiterated its commitment to partnering with innovative entrepreneurs like Hon. Imafidon in the drive to make Uhunmwode a hub for sustainable business, innovation, and infrastructure.
