...As The National Association Of Edo State Students In The Nigeria Law School (NAESSNLS) Sets To Recognize The Proud Benin Chief with An Outstanding Public Service Award.

The National Association of Edo State Students in the Nigerian Law School (NAESSNLS) has officially nominated Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Famous Adesuwa Osawaru, Member representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwonde Federal Constituency, for the Exemplary Leadership Award. The prestigious recognition is part of the Association’s upcoming Awards and Prize Giving Ceremony aimed at celebrating Edo indigenes who have graduated from the Nigerian Law School with outstanding academic performance.

According to the letter signed by the Association’s Secretary General, Erekose Peter, and President, Aigbikor George Uaidiae, the event will be held on Thursday, 10th July 2025, at Ruby Event Hall, Brookville Hotel and Suites, Lokogoma, Apo, Abuja. Hon. Billy Osawaru is not only expected to receive the award, but has also been specially invited to present the Hon. Billy Osawaru Merit Awards to outstanding Edo graduates during the ceremony.

This recognition highlights the impactful contributions of Hon. Osawaru in public service and youth empowerment, particularly in the educational sector. The Association commended his consistent commitment to excellence, describing him as a role model whose leadership continues to inspire the younger generation of legal professionals from Edo State.
