Reporting Progress; Construction Of The New Arousa Primary School Block Of Classrooms Progressing Steadily, A Testament To Hon. Iredia's Passion For Education

Azagba Uhunmwode; It started with a vision, dropped in the heart of a passionate man. He fleshed it, breathed life into it, and today, the manifestation is not only a source of excitement but a testament to the fecundity of a potent mind.

It will be recalled that the Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Council, Hon. Benjamin Iredia Osa's recently rolled out a three-phase upgrade of Arousa Primary School, Azagba, Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State. These include: the construction of a new block of six classrooms complete with state-of-the-art classroom furniture, headteacher's office, conveniences, and a borehole facility, representing phase one of the project. Renovation of existing blocks of classrooms and parameter fencing of the school premises as phases two and three, respectively.

While this was lauded by many as a bold move unprecedented in local government administration, a few naysayers accustomed to the old retrogressive order of local government administration questioned the possibilities of its realization, considering the financial state of Uhunmwode Local Government Council. However, the Ben Iredia Media (B.I.M.) crew is proud to report that the first phase of the project is progressing steadily like a spider spinning its web.

Barely two weeks from the start of the project, and despite the unabating rains, the block of six classrooms has reached a commendable stage, indicative that the project will be completed within the contractual timeline. This is a testament to Hon. Iredia's sincerity of purpose. He is not given to political optics or "clout chasing" but truly committed to delivering the dividends of local government administration to the doorsteps of the good people of Uhunmwode local government area..

Moreover, this is a product of Hon. Iredia's visionary leadership, effective planning, and the judicious/transparent allocation of scarce resources. It is akin to putting your money where your mouth is and walking the talk. With contractors adequately mobilized, Uhunmwode is sure to expect a seamless continuation of the projects and the eventual completion/Commissioning of all the project phases for the benefit of Uhunmwode's teeming pupils.
