HON. AUSTIN IMAFIDON APPLAUDS GOVERNOR MONDAY OKPEBHOLO’S  INFRASTRUCTURAL PROJECTS IN UHUNMWODE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

The Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Council, Hon. Austin Imafidon, has poured encomiums on the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for what he described as unprecedented and people centred infrastructural development currently transforming communities across Uhunmwode Local Government Area, especially in Isi-North.

Hon. Imafidon described the Governor’s intervention in the area as timely, strategic, and people centered, noting that the scale and quality of projects being executed clearly demonstrate Governor Okpebholo’s commitment to inclusive development and grassroots governance.

Hon. Imafidon stated that, communities that were previously neglected are now witnessing renewed hope as road construction, rehabilitation of critical infrastructure, and other developmental projects are either ongoing or completed within the local government. These projects, he said, are not only improving connectivity but also boosting economic activities, security, and the overall quality of life of residents.

Governor Monday Okpebholo has shown uncommon dedication to the development of Uhunmwode. The infrastructural projects we are seeing today are evidence of a governor who listens to the people and acts decisively. From roads to community focused interventions, Uhunmwode is clearly benefiting from his vision.

He emphasized that improved road networks across several communities in Uhunmwode have eased movement for farmers, traders, students, and commuters, thereby enhancing productivity and social interaction. Hon. Imafidon further noted that these projects align with the Governor’s broader agenda of opening up rural communities and driving sustainable development across Edo State.

The council chairman also reassured residents that the Uhunmwode Local Government Council will continue to collaborate effectively with the state government to ensure that all projects are protected, maintained, and maximized for the benefit of the people.

Hon. Imafidon called on stakeholders, traditional leaders, youths, and community members to continue supporting Governor Okpebholo’s administration, stressing that development thrives best in an atmosphere of unity and collective responsibility.

This is a new era for Edo State and for Uhunmwode in particular. We must support Governor Okpebholo to do more. His performance so far speaks volumes, and the people can feel the impact.
