HON. EDOSA IYAYI CONGRATULATES NEWLY ELECTED APC UHUNMWODE LGA EXECUTIVE MEMBERS.
Hon. Edosa Iyayi, former Vice Chairman of the Uhunmwode Local Government Council, has extended warm congratulations to the newly elected Executive Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Uhunmwode Local Government Area, following the successful conclusion of the party’s executive election.
In his message, Hon. Iyayi congratulated the leadership of the party under the chairmanship of Rt. Hon. Osawe Osayemwere, describing their emergence as a clear reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in them by party faithful and key stakeholders. He noted that the election marked a significant milestone toward strengthening the APC’s grassroots structure and overall effectiveness within Uhunmwode LGA.
According to him, the outcome of the election represents not only a personal victory for those elected but also a renewed mandate for unity, service, and purposeful leadership within the party. He expressed confidence that the collective experience, dedication, and commitment of the executive members would foster inclusive leadership, impactful governance, and sustainable growth of the party across the local government area.
Hon. Iyayi also specifically congratulated Hon. Sylvester Obazee, LGA Vice Chairman; Nelson Gomez Iserhienrhien, LGA Secretary; and Maifua Monday, Assistant Secretary, acknowledging the strategic importance of their offices in ensuring effective coordination, administration, and direction of party activities.
Special recognition was given to the party’s legal and financial officers, including Barr. Uyi Ediale (Legal Adviser), Mr. Monday Ogiebor (Assistant Legal Adviser), Imafidon Isaac (Treasurer), Aibuorallor Ogbemudia (Assistant Treasurer), Odion Benson (Financial Secretary), and Osabuohien Aigbede (Assistant Financial Secretary). Hon. Iyayi emphasized that their roles are critical to accountability, compliance, and financial discipline within the party.
He further commended members of the organizing, publicity, welfare, and audit committees—Blessing Aibangure and Albert Alohan; Oyenmwen Aikorogie and Joseph Aiwagure; Ebo Asemota and Kelvin Osaigbovo; as well as Iyobosa Aguebor and Johnbull Okunghea—for their willingness to serve, noting that their contributions would enhance party mobilization, public engagement, member welfare, and institutional integrity.
The former Vice Chairman also congratulated leaders representing women, youth, persons with disabilities, and the Ex-Officio members, namely Rebecca Okunbor and Betty Nuwuli Iyayi; Osagioduwa Alfred and Osaretin Smith Eboigbe; Osaro Airunda; Osawonyi Omoregbe, Emmanuel Aghayere, Aghohon Sunday, and Mr. Ighitu. He described their inclusion as a demonstration of the APC’s commitment to inclusive and participatory leadership.
Hon. Edosa Iyayi concluded by wishing the entire executive a successful tenure characterized by unity, progress, and dedicated service to the people of Uhunmwode Local Government Area and the core ideals of the All Progressives Congress.
