Hon. Osawaru’s passion for education has never been in doubt. He does not merely speak about it, he lives it, embodies it, and translates it into concrete action.

Since assuming office as the Honourable Member, House of Representatives, representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency, Hon. Osawaru has facilitated several impactful interventions and attracted key educational infrastructure projects aimed at improving learning outcomes and strengthening the educational system across the constituency.

Among the notable projects facilitated by Hon. Osawaru are:

Construction of a block of six classrooms at Osaretin Primary School, Uzalla Community, Uhunmwode. The project has been fully completed, commissioned, and is currently in use.

Facilitation of a block of classrooms at Idumodin Primary School, Igbanke, Orhionmwon. The project has been completed and is awaiting official commissioning.

Construction of a block of six classrooms, including a Head Teacher’s office, teachers’ offices, and conveniences at Adumagbae Secondary School, Egba Junction, Benin–Auchi Road, Uhunmwode. The project is 80% complete.

Donation of hundreds of school furniture to Arousa Primary School, Azagba, Uhunmwode, and Central Primary School, Igbanke, Orhionmwon.

Distribution of back-to-school bags and learning materials to several primary schools across Uhunmwode and Orhionmwon, including Osaretin and Arousa Primary Schools in Uhunmwode, Ogan Primary School, and Ewaure Primary School in Orhionmwon, as well as selected primary schools in Ugieghudu Community, Uhunmwode, among others.

Ongoing free enrolment of students for WAEC and NECO examinations, easing the financial burden on parents and guardians, and expanding access to secondary education certification.

In addition, Hon. Osawaru has facilitated the award of scholarships to qualified students from Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies, both within Nigeria and abroad.

This is impact clearly defined, people-centred leadership driven by genuine commitment to human capital development. With several time-bound and well-structured educational initiatives already proposed and scheduled for implementation, one thing remains certain... The best is yet to come.
