This prestigious recognition is a testament to your unwavering commitment to educational excellence and your tireless efforts to uplift and advance the educational system in Edo State. It is more than an award, but an affirmation of your genuine and irrevocable love for education, which is the cornerstone of every enduring success.

Through the faithful and diligent implementation of the ideals in your visionary SHINE AGENDA, the Educational Sector in Edo State has received a systemic revamp through the execution of bright and globally competitive ideas and policies, employment of thousands of qualified and highly motivated educators coupled with a deliberate improvement in school infrastructures to promote a pleasant teaching/learning experience and also, increased funding to schools and institutions across the State.

This practical, often quiet but purposeful and far-reaching intervention has positively rejuvenated the Educational system in Edo State, impacted countless lives, and inspired both students and educators alike to put in their best, hence the award of Governor of the year in Education is truly well deserved.
