Hon. Imafidon Swears in Six Appointees, Charges Them to Serve Uhunmwode With Commitment And Integrity
The Executive Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon. Austin Imafidon, has sworn in six newly appointed local government officials, urging them to see their appointments as a call to service and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the development of the council area.
The swearing-in ceremony, held at the council headquarters, brought together government officials, political leaders, community stakeholders, party faithful, family members and other well-wishers who gathered to witness the formal commencement of duties by the appointees.
Speaking during the ceremony, Hon. Imafidon congratulated the six appointees and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the administration. He emphasized the importance of loyalty, accountability, discipline and dedication to duty in the discharge of their responsibilities. He further urged the appointees to work closely with the council administration and other stakeholders, stressing that the development of Uhunmwode requires collective efforts and a strong commitment to grassroots governance.
According to the Chairman, the appointments are part of his administration's efforts to strengthen the machinery of government and ensure effective delivery of democratic dividends to the people at the grassroots.

1. Hon Amity Oriakhi - Secretary to the local government council,
2. Mr. Ogiehor Ehis Tornado - Chief Press Secretary,
3. Hon. Ighodaro Oziegbe - Special Adviser on Humanitarian Service,
4. Hon. Nosa Omokaro - Special Adviser on Youth Development and Community Work,
5. Mr. Believe Oriakhi - Chief of Staff,
6. Mr. Fola Odimayo - Chief Security Officer.
Responding on behalf of the newly appointed officials, the newly appointed Secretary to the Council expressed appreciation to Chairman Austin Imafidon for finding them worthy of the appointments.
The Secretary described the appointments as a demonstration of the Chairman's confidence in their abilities and pledged that the appointees would not take the opportunity for granted.The Secretary assured the Chairman that the appointees would work diligently to support the administration's programmes and policies, while putting the interests of the people of Uhunmwode first.
