It is that time of the year again. A season marked with increased activities, merriment, and festivities. It is Yuletide, and for Christians, it is a time to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. 

In the mood and spirit of the season, The principal and students of Iro Omorodion Grammar School, Aduhan Community, Located along Benin Agbor Road, Uhunmwode local government area, hosted parents, guardians, and guests to their 2024 Christmas nine lessons/Carol and cultural fiesta. 

The event which featured a sonorous rendition of Christmas carols, reading of nine lessons, a cultural fiesta, and other side attractions, had in attendance distinguished Union leaders, opinion molders, and renowned educationists amongst whom is the 4th Vice Chairman, Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Edo State Wing, Comrade Evbaziegbere Daudu Edorodion who also took the fourth reading of the Christmas nine lessons. 

The Fourth reading taken from the book of Isaiah, Chapter 7, verses 10 to 14, spoke about the Sign where the coming of our Lord Jesus through a maiden with a Child was foretold in the Old Testament. It highlights the reason for the season and underscores the correlation between the Old and the New Testaments of the holy bible. 

Comrade Evbaziegbere Daudu Edorodion, who is the publisher of daudunews24.com.ng, commended the principal and students for an impressive organization of the event and prayed that the joy and blessings of the season dwell with them. He wished all present a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance

The event is part of Iro Omorodion Grammar School's end-of-year activities, marking the end of the first term of teaching and learning in the 2024/2025 academic session, which started in September this year.
